That combination is what does the work: it cuts through scalp oil, sweat and product build-up so that whatever goes on next meets clean skin. In the HR³ MATRIX system, what goes on next is the Hair Solution ampoule, needled in. Then the cooling, which is the most of any GENOSYS product by total: menthol at 0.900% with menthyl lactate at 0.800%, 1.7% between them. This is the ampoule in the HR³ MATRIX range built to be rolled or stamped into the scalp rather than smoothed onto it, and the vehicle is most of the point: propylene glycol at 9.995%, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil at 1% and carbomer at 0.45% make a thin opaque gel that sits where it is placed on needled skin. At dose: menthol 0.200% for the cooling, niacinamide 0.100% and panthenol 0.100%. Copper tripeptide-1 sits at 0.0005%, which is 5 ppm — five times the concentration in the HR³ MATRIX Hair Tonic and the highest in the range. Broccoli extract at 100 ppm is the most substantial botanical. About the growth factors, since they lead the label: sh-Polypeptide-9, sh-Polypeptide-7, sh-Oligopeptide-1 and sh-Polypeptide-71 are all present, and together they come to 1.2 parts per million. They are real and they are premium raw materials, but that is the honest number. Registered as a leave-in hair conditioner. The carton function line reads nutrition supply and hair conditioning. Dermatologically tested. Use one or two times a week, and use a vial immediately once it is opened. The carton says to avoid during pregnancy and lactation.

300 ml scalp shampoo. Caffeine at a full 1.000% and menthol at 1.120% with menthyl lactate at 0.080%, which makes this the most strongly cooling product GENOSYS makes — and, for caffeine, a hundred times the dose in the HR³ MATRIX Hair Tonic. Cleansing runs on sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate at 14.100% with coco-betaine at 5.250%, plus coco-glucoside and decyl glucoside; there is no sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate in the formula. Glycerin at 2.753% and sorbitol at 0.210% keep it from stripping, and the batch pH is 5.6 against a 4.50–6.50 specification. The carton function line is scalp and hair cleansing. Dermatologically tested. Fragranced at 0.300%. Rinse-off, so the sensible way to use it is to leave the lather on the scalp for about three minutes before rinsing, which is what the manufacturer’s own Russian panel instructs. Note on the label reading: biotin is present at 2 ppm, saw palmetto fruit extract at 1 ppm and copper tripeptide-1 at 0.000001%, which is ten parts per billion. They are on the ingredient list but they are not doses to buy the product for. Piroctone olamine is present at 0.010%, a preservative-level amount rather than an anti-dandruff treatment dose.

70 ml scalp toner. Nearly a tenth of the bottle is denatured alcohol at 9.500%, which is what makes it dry down fast and feel clean rather than sit on the hair. Over that: menthol at 0.300% with two supporting cooling agents, panthenol at 0.200%, salicylic acid at 0.250% and allantoin at 0.100%. Spray onto the scalp morning and evening, massage it in with circular movements, and leave it — do not wash it off, and give it at least three to four hours. Its registered function outside Korea is scalp nourishing and hair conditioning. IMPORTANT: because of the salicylic acid, the manufacturer says to avoid this product if you have salicylic acid sensitivity, diabetes, a circulatory disorder, renal impairment, an active infection or reddened scalp, and during menstruation, pregnancy or possible pregnancy. Not for children under 3. Use within three months of opening. The remaining named ingredients are at trace: caffeine and Sophora japonica at 10 ppm each, copper tripeptide-1 at 1 ppm. Three UV filters make up 19.70% of the tube for SPF30 / PA++, over a single universal shade from iron oxides and titanium dioxide. Fragrance-free with no parabens, mineral oil, ethanol or phenoxyethanol — the only one of our three SPF products with no perfume at all. A second 15 g refill is already in the box, and the waterdrop puff carries a fourth waterproof layer so the formula stays in the cushion rather than in the sponge. The light everyday sunscreen in the GENOSYS pair. Four UV filters make up 18.5% of the tube — a heavier load than the SPF50+ in the range — but three of them absorb UVB and the only UVA cover is titanium dioxide, which is why this rates SPF40 / PA++ rather than PA++++. Every filter was assayed on the batch and came back in specification. Light enough for daily wear under make-up, pH 6.71, no parabens, drying alcohol or colourants. Contains octinoxate at 7.50%, within the 10% European limit — if you are avoiding it, the Ultra Shield has none. Fragranced at 0.25% with five declared allergens. A silky, non-greasy sunscreen whose protection was measured rather than estimated: SPF 65.9 in vivo and a UVA protection factor of 23.1 to 24.3, against the 22.0 European law requires at that strength. The label reads SPF50+ because 50+ is the highest figure a sunscreen is permitted to state. Six UV filters make up 17.1% of the formula — five organic and one mineral, covering UVB and both halves of UVA — alongside niacinamide at 2% and adenosine at 0.04%, the doses Korea licenses the brightening and wrinkle functions against. A full 2% of niacinamide, and this is the one product in the range whose certificate actually tests for it rather than taking the recipe's word: the batch on file came back at 2.04%. Same active and same dose as the Multi Vita serum, carried here in 13% macadamia oil instead of water. The orange colour is the astaxanthin itself, with no pigment added. In the maker's two-week trial surface melanin fell 29.7%. Morning and night, with sunscreen over it by day.

A cream with no oil in it. No plant oil, no butter, no wax, no emulsifier: what makes it feel like a cream is 1.3% of thickener holding 86.6% water in a gel. Zinc PCA sits at 0.05%, the same dose as the Problem Control Serum, and Korea registers the cream for anti-blemishes and oil control. Massage it in as the last step, morning and night. 50g and 250g. The carton prints the dose of every hyaluronate beside its name, which almost nobody does. Sodium hyaluronate at 1,000.9 ppm, then seven more at 30 parts per billion. The one carrying the cream is the high molecular weight grade, the heavy form that stays on the surface and stops water leaving, and glycerin at 9% sits right behind it. Hydration measured 82% higher immediately after a single use and was still significantly up at 72 hours. Massage it in morning and night, after the serum. 50g and 250g.

A transparent gel-cream built almost entirely around water-binding: butylene glycol 10.555%, glycerin 6.175% and betaine 5.000% make 21.7% humectants, with betaine at a high dose for a cosmetic (typical use is 0.5 to 2%). The manufacturer’s clinical documentation records skin temperature down by an average of about 1 °C twenty minutes after application, and skin hydration up 12% after four weeks of regular use — figures given without a named laboratory, subject count or method, so treat them as the manufacturer’s measurements rather than a published trial. Also contains Lactobacillus/pumpkin ferment extract 0.1000%, aloe barbadensis leaf extract 0.0500% and sodium hyaluronate 0.0500%. Snail secretion filtrate is present at 0.0010%, ten parts per million, so this is not a snail cream — but it is NOT VEGAN. No paraben and no phenoxyethanol: the formula is preserved by glycols. Ceramide NP at 0.5%, and the Korean panel on the carton prints the number in brackets: 5,000 ppm. Most creams that put ceramide on the front use it one or two orders of magnitude lower. Behind it, glycerin at 17.49% and shea butter at 3%, which makes this the richest of the three GENOSYS face creams and the one for skin that is sensitive and dry rather than dehydrated or oily. The carton asks you to pat it in, not rub it. 100g, morning and night.

The cream a practitioner hands you after a treatment. Nearly a fifth of it is humectant — butylene glycol at 12.000% and glycerin at 6.390% — which is the most useful thing for skin that has just been needled or lasered and is losing water faster than usual. On top of that sit three calming ingredients at a full 0.2% each: licorice-derived dipotassium glycyrrhizate, scutellaria baicalensis root extract for its baicalin, and allantoin, with bisabolol at 0.050% and vitamin E at 0.500%. Purified centella triterpenes (asiaticoside, madecassic acid, asiatic acid) total 0.020%. Its registered function is one word: soothing. There is no functional active in it — no retinoid, acid, arbutin, adenosine or UV filter — which on freshly treated skin is the point. Glycerin is only 0.7%, so this is occlusive rather than hydrating: it holds moisture in thin neck and chest skin rather than drawing water in. CONTAINS PEANUT OIL (Arachis Hypogaea, 0.0087%), present as the carrier for the vitamin A and held below 0.5 ppm peanut protein — do not use if you have a peanut allergy. Also contains lavender oil 0.0265% with linalool 0.0235% declared. Of the five peptides, copper tripeptide-1 at 50 ppm is 97% of the total peptide load; the other four run from 1 ppm down to 0.01 ppm. Korean single-function licence: wrinkle improvement only. HES runs HA at 1.65 million Dalton, just below the grade used in dermal fillers, and pairs it with a roller so the weight becomes an advantage instead of a barrier.
