This is the ampoule in the HR³ MATRIX range built to be rolled or stamped into the scalp rather than smoothed onto it, and the vehicle is most of the point: propylene glycol at 9.995%, PEG-40 hydrogenated castor oil at 1% and carbomer at 0.45% make a thin opaque gel that sits where it is placed on needled skin. At dose: menthol 0.200% for the cooling, niacinamide 0.100% and panthenol 0.100%. Copper tripeptide-1 sits at 0.0005%, which is 5 ppm — five times the concentration in the HR³ MATRIX Hair Tonic and the highest in the range. Broccoli extract at 100 ppm is the most substantial botanical. About the growth factors, since they lead the label: sh-Polypeptide-9, sh-Polypeptide-7, sh-Oligopeptide-1 and sh-Polypeptide-71 are all present, and together they come to 1.2 parts per million. They are real and they are premium raw materials, but that is the honest number. Registered as a leave-in hair conditioner. The carton function line reads nutrition supply and hair conditioning. Dermatologically tested. Use one or two times a week, and use a vial immediately once it is opened. The carton says to avoid during pregnancy and lactation.

70 ml scalp toner. Nearly a tenth of the bottle is denatured alcohol at 9.500%, which is what makes it dry down fast and feel clean rather than sit on the hair. Over that: menthol at 0.300% with two supporting cooling agents, panthenol at 0.200%, salicylic acid at 0.250% and allantoin at 0.100%. Spray onto the scalp morning and evening, massage it in with circular movements, and leave it — do not wash it off, and give it at least three to four hours. Its registered function outside Korea is scalp nourishing and hair conditioning. IMPORTANT: because of the salicylic acid, the manufacturer says to avoid this product if you have salicylic acid sensitivity, diabetes, a circulatory disorder, renal impairment, an active infection or reddened scalp, and during menstruation, pregnancy or possible pregnancy. Not for children under 3. Use within three months of opening. The remaining named ingredients are at trace: caffeine and Sophora japonica at 10 ppm each, copper tripeptide-1 at 1 ppm. 300 ml scalp shampoo. Caffeine at a full 1.000% and menthol at 1.120% with menthyl lactate at 0.080%, which makes this the most strongly cooling product GENOSYS makes — and, for caffeine, a hundred times the dose in the HR³ MATRIX Hair Tonic. Cleansing runs on sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate at 14.100% with coco-betaine at 5.250%, plus coco-glucoside and decyl glucoside; there is no sodium lauryl or laureth sulfate in the formula. Glycerin at 2.753% and sorbitol at 0.210% keep it from stripping, and the batch pH is 5.6 against a 4.50–6.50 specification. The carton function line is scalp and hair cleansing. Dermatologically tested. Fragranced at 0.300%. Rinse-off, so the sensible way to use it is to leave the lather on the scalp for about three minutes before rinsing, which is what the manufacturer’s own Russian panel instructs. Note on the label reading: biotin is present at 2 ppm, saw palmetto fruit extract at 1 ppm and copper tripeptide-1 at 0.000001%, which is ten parts per billion. They are on the ingredient list but they are not doses to buy the product for. Piroctone olamine is present at 0.010%, a preservative-level amount rather than an anti-dandruff treatment dose.

Neither is registered as a hair-loss treatment, and nothing here is a substitute for seeing a doctor about hair loss.

The HR³ MATRIX SCALP BRUSH is a soft silicone brush for cleansing and massaging the scalp while you wash. Used with shampoo on wet hair it works the lather down to the skin and helps wash away scalp oil, dead skin cells and product buildup, without scratching. Regular massage helps increase blood flow to the scalp, which can help prevent hair thinning, and the deeper cleansing it gives helps increase hair volume. Its everyday partner is HR³ MATRIX MEDI SCALP SHAMPOO α, with which it builds a noticeably richer foam. Leave-on treatments from the HR³ MATRIX line go on afterwards, onto a clean scalp.

100 ml scalp prep solution. A third of the bottle is denatured alcohol — 33.600% — with propylene glycol at 11.994% and a castor oil solubiliser at 2%. That combination is what does the work: it cuts through scalp oil, sweat and product build-up so that whatever goes on next meets clean skin. In the HR³ MATRIX system, what goes on next is the Hair Solution ampoule, needled in. Then the cooling, which is the most of any GENOSYS product by total: menthol at 0.900% with menthyl lactate at 0.800%, 1.7% between them. On a scalp that has just been degreased, that is a strong sensation. Applied on a cotton swab and rubbed in firmly, section by section, and not rinsed off. Transparent liquid, batch pH 4.31, and it passes stability at 50 °C. Two things worth being straight about, because the label leads on both. The salicylic acid is at 0.00990%, which is 99 parts per million — roughly a twenty-fifth of the dose in the HR³ MATRIX Hair Tonic, and not enough to exfoliate anything; the alcohol is doing that. And the copper tripeptide-1 is at 0.0000005%, five parts per billion, the lowest concentration of anything in the range.

The applicator the GENOSYS HairGen Booster runs on. Each stamp head carries 52 ultra-fine microneedles that open temporary micro-channels in the scalp, and it screws onto a sealed HR³ MATRIX HAIR SOLUTION α vial so the solution feeds through the head while the device works — the liquid goes in as the needles open the way, rather than being rubbed on afterwards. Mounted on the Booster it stamps automatically, at a rate you set rather than one your hand drifts into, which is the practical difference between a powered handpiece and a hand roller. Eight stamps per box. One stamp and one fresh ampoule per treatment — it is single use, it is not a cleanable part, and it is personal. Made in South Korea.
